David's Recipe for Tomato Chutney
Clemenceau never said that bottled chutney is to chutney what military music is to music.
- 1 large tomato
- 1 large onion
- Juice of 1 lemon or lime
- pinch of salt
- Blanch the tomato, remove the two ends, peel, and dice very fine.
- Dice the onion.
- Add the salt and the lemon.
- Allow to stand for several hours before serving with curry.
